Eon’s Elite and Dark Figures Confirmed for Superchargers

Post by on Air, Earth, Fire, Life, Magic, Skylanders: Superchargers, Tech, Undead, Water 4714 3

Activision have announced shortly before Comic Con that there will be Dark Editions of the next Skylanders installment, Superchargers. These will be available for the PS3, PS4, XBox 360, XBox One, Wii and Wii U versions of the game- tablet and 3DS bundles are currently unconfirmed.

All versions of the Dark Edition have a Kaos Trophy- which will unlock “special Kaos content”- as well as Dark Spitfire and Dark Hot Streak included, but the Dark Edition for Wii U comes with Dark Donkey Kong and Dark Barrel Blaster too. The Wii version has Dark Bowser and Dark Clown Cruiser in lieu of Dark Donkey Kong and Dark Barrel Blaster, while all other versions have a Dark Stealth Elf and Dark Sea Shadow rather than Nintendo’s guest stars. Also announced were six new Eon’s Elite figures: Zook, Ghost Roaster, Dino-Rang, Slam Bam, Voodood and Boomer. This marks the first appearance of Ghost Roaster, Dino-Rang, Voodood and Boomer since Spyro’s Adventure. Interestingly, no new Air, Fire, Light or Dark Elite was mentioned.

Elite Ghost Roaster, Slam Bam and Boomer will launch in America during November this year and Elite Zook, Dino-Rang and Voodood are set to release there in December. Unsurprisingly, the Dark Edition Starter Packs will be released on the same day as standard editions.

What are your thoughts? I’m pretty disappointed in the Dark Editions’ character distribution, but I’m still considering a Dark Starter Pack and want Elite Zook and Ghost Roaster, myself.

so sick of the dark edition starter packs now you’d need to buy six starter packs to get all the figurines and the dark ed ones are so expensive plus i dont want more re release characters i collect them all and i already have like 8 of some characters. Well hopefully theres some cool new guys soon

I’m not sure if my mum will let me buy a Dark Starter Pack and a Regular Starter Pack, but if she does, I will buy the Wii Dark Edition Starter Pack and the Wii U Regular Starter Pack, because I don’t really like the Dark version of Donkey Kong.

Never mind the darks. Finally they remember Ghost Roaster, Boomer, Dino-rang and Voodood! That just leaves Sunburn.
